The Relationship Between Sleep Apnea and Your Weight Posted By : Christian Goodman

Christian Goodman

Sleep Apnea is a medical condition characterized by interrupted breathing patterns during sleep. Someone with this condition normally snores loudly, may stop breathing for 10-20 seconds during sleep, then resumes breathing with a gasp, choke, or loud snort.

This may occur anywhere from 5 to 30 times in an hour, and the reduced amount of oxygen in the blood can be life threatening.

Sleep apnea affects one in about every 25 adults, but 90% of all sleep apnea cases aren't reported.

This is because the sufferer often does not wake up during these episodes of non-breathing, so they often aren't aware of the medical condition.

It's often the sufferer's bed partner or roommate who initially notices the symptoms.

It's common knowledge that obesity is a cause of sleep apnea (the additional fat around the neck pushes against the airways). What isn't as well-known is the fact that sleep apnea also causes obesity in return - the decreased amounts of oxygen in the blood triggers a "panic mode" in the body, causing it to store more fat to compensate for decreased energy reserves.

It's a vicious cycle that doesn't end until remedied.

If you have these symptoms - overweight, with dry/sore throat, headaches in the morning, and feeling of tiredness during the day, then you may be suffering from sleep apnea.

Most doctors claim that even a 10% reduction in weight will prevent sleep apnea and help you sleep better. Losing weight may be a helpful advice, but it is easier said than done.

With my Snoring Program, you don't need to do that.

My Snoring Program doesn't entail any rigorous exercise and weight loss, but has been used by hundreds of my satisfied clients to cure their sleep apnea and get much-needed rest during the night.

By sticking to the easy steps listed in my Snoring Program, the body won't go into the aforementioned "panic mode" during sleep, and the increased energy you'll get from sleep will make it easier for you to maintain a healthy body weight. Two birds with one stone.

But hitting three birds with one stone is even better, right?

My new Weight Loss Program will also help sleep apnea sufferers deal with its causes - as well as a list of other problems caused by the extra weight.

My Weight Loss Program involves exercises that are not even workout exercises. No one has probably ever heard of these exercises before.

Check out my Snoring Program and Weight Loss Program to help you finally cure your sleep apnea and have a better life.

To Get A Headache In A Million Ways - And Ways to Heal Them All Posted By : Christian Goodman

There are a million ways to get a headache these days. You could get one when you hit your head on something, or when you miss your caffeine fix, or when you eat ice cream too fast. You could also get a headache when you're overly stressed, when you're fatigued, or when you're sick - the list goes on and on.

In the United States alone, about one in every six people suffer from Chronic headaches and migraines. They suffer infrequently, but regularly. When this happens, it's hard for the rest of the body to do any kind of work when the head is suffering from great pain. Studies have shown that about $50 Billion is lost every year due to workers not being able to work because of chronic headaches.

Where does all that money go? Into the medical industry, I imagine.

Headache and migraine medicines, treatments, and therapies are making doctors and pharmaceutical companies rich these days. The problem is although these treatments and medicines are effective, they are only effective temporarily. You will experience the headaches and migraines again because the underlying cause is not being addressed.

And the real cause is oxygen deprivation. The doctors will not tell you that though.

Our body is composed of cells, and every single cell needs oxygen to function properly. Lack of oxygen in the cells in the head will make the veins inflamed and brush against the nerves of the brain, and this is what causes chronic headaches and migraines.

It doesn't help things that so many of us breathe too shallowly and practice bad body postures day after day. All these little things contribute to the lack of oxygen that causes chronic headaches and migraines.

If only the medical industry admitted and addressed this underlying cause, the American Economy will not be losing so much money and manpower.

And as usual, it's Christian Goodman to the rescue

My Migraine and Headache Relief Program directly addresses the real cause of the problem. The simple exercises and practices in my program will show you how to increase the amount of oxygen in your body and restore the body's natural balance.

Not only would you enjoy lasting freedom from your headaches and migraines, but you'll find yourself in much better shape than ever before. You'll be surprised at how much you were missing out of life.

Migraine : What Is a Migraine AttackBy: Ray Lam

Unlike normal headaches that many of us suffer with, a migraine is often a hereditary complaint that starts when someone is still in childhood. Most suffers will go to bed as the headache (usually on one side) takes hold and which could last a matter of a few hours but if left without attention, could last for days. Almost all sufferers will complain of exhaustion and a feeling of weakness that takes some time to pass.

Some people are more fortunate than others and may only have a couple of attacks per year whilst others have one or more every month. Often other symptoms similar to those of flu may afflict the patient; for instance, light sensitivity and chills, along with a feeling of lightheadedness as well. Migraine attacks only seem to affect people within a certain age range, just before puberty and stop by the time the person has reached about 40; however, by the time someone reaches fifty, attacks almost never occur.

It is quite common for members of the same family group to suffer with migraine attacks; even though there may be a link, so far it has eluded medical science. There is a condition that causes an inflammation of blood vessels in the brain and it is possible that people who suffer have sensitivity in this area. Another area that still isn't fully understood is why these headaches are more prevalent in women with approximately three times as many women suffering than men; only one in twelve men will experience an attack in their lives.

Some sufferers have a strange feeling anything up to 30 minutes before an attack; called a migraine with aura and may say they feel they have an attack coming. The warning signs may include:

*Nausea is very common *Vision is affected *Strange sounds or smell *Lack of sensation in sufferers extremities

whilst there are many more symptoms, the list above contains those which are most prevalent. Some of these indications are symptoms felt by those who have the most common variant of the condition, migraines without aura; many early indications felt by those who have a warning are symptoms felt by those who have no warning but their condition can be made worse if they are in constant motion.

It is believed that conditions that cause the blood vessels in the brain to contract could be an explanation for migraine but this still hasn't been proved so the search for cause continues. It might be that it is the expansion of the blood vessels afterwards that causes the headache; most victims become unable to do anything for some time after the attack. There are many possible triggers for an attack some of which are shown below:

*Weather *Certain types of food *Being at great height *Drinks *Very bright internal lighting *Not enough food *Anxiety

It is therefore a good idea for the victim to see if there is a pattern to the attacks which could then make it easier to avoid them.

10 Tips to Prevent a Painful HeadacheBy: Kim Archer

There's nothing like a throbbing headache to bring you down. Suffering with a headache can deplete your energy reserves, reduce your efficiency, and put a halt to everyday activities. Who needs the pain?

There are a number of types of headaches, such as tension, sinus and migraine. But as we learn more about this problem, it becomes evident that they are often avoidable.

As a substitute for the bottle of ibuprofen, consider using more preventative strategy to manage your pain. Here are 10 tips that are proven to help you head off your next headache.

1. If you're going to be outside in the sun, wear a hat. Too much sun (along with its accompanying heat) can cause vascular changes that can lead to a headache.

2. Avoid exhaust fumes. The toxic mixture of chemicals emitted by heavy machinery or a car's exhaust pipe can quickly trigger a headache.

3. Loosen up -- your hair, that is. If you bind your hair too tightly so that it causes tension on your scalp, you could help cause a headache. The same holds true if you wear heavy earrings or tight headbands, for example. Lighten up and loosen up for headache relief.

4. Take it easy. Stress is a known cause of tension headaches. If you're feeling stressed, take a break, take a walk, listen to music, or soak in a hot tub. Even a short nap can help forestall a headache if you feel one coming on.

5. Shut out the noise. A constant high level of noise is often at the root of a headache. And it's not just construction, sirens and honking horns that are to blame. Turn off the TV when you're not watching it. Lower the volume on your CD player. Get the kids out of the house into the backyard to play. If you can't escape the noise, get yourself some ear plugs.

6. Visit your dentist. The pain of a toothache can sometimes feel just like a headache, or it might set one in motion. If your troublesome tooth is in your upper jaw, there's an even greater risk of headache.

7. Sit up straight. Bad posture leads to headaches by cramping your neck and shoulder muscles. If you sit for most of your workday, make sure your chair and computer are positioned properly so you don't slouch. Consider purchasing a back support cushion.

8. Eat regular meals. If you skip meals, this means that your blood sugar is going to plummet, as will your energy level. This can trigger a headache and even a migraine, if you're prone to them.

9. Stay away from caffeine and monosodium glutamate, both of which can cause headaches.

10. Start a headache diary. Whenever you experience a headache, make note of the conditions. Did you eat something strange? What was the weather like? Were you unusually stressed, or maybe in PMS? After a while, your headache journal can help you identify a pattern to the cause of your headaches.

The above are just some ways you can pinpoint and eliminate, or at least reduce, headaches. If they continue, make sure you get your doctor's advice. It is often possible, though, to take care of headaches, as long as you know what you're doing, without having to resort to medications.

So put your new-found knowledge to use and starting heading off those headaches.

To Get A Headache In A Million Ways - And Ways to Heal Them All Posted By : Christian Goodman

Christian Goodman

Wouldn't you like to see just how much?

Wouldn't you like to see just how much?

Migraine : What Is a Migraine Attack

Ray Lam

10 Tips to Prevent a Painful Headache

To Get A Headache In A Million Ways - And Ways to Heal Them All

Christian Goodman

Is it the same?

Rosacea is a common skin problem often called “adult acne.” Fair-skinned and menopausal women are more likely to have rosacea. Rosacea also seems to run in families. It causes redness in the center parts of the face and pimples. Blood vessels under the skin of the face may enlarge and show through the skin as small red lines. The skin may be swollen and feel warm. Women with rosacea don’t have the same lesions as seen with common acne. They may have flushing of the face, when they are hot, drink alcohol or hot drinks, or eat spicy foods. This flushing causes the face to appear red. In the most severe form, this redness does not go away. The eyes may become swollen and nodules in the skin may be painful. You can help keep rosacea under control by keeping a record of things that cause it to flare up. Try to avoid or limit these triggers as much as you can. Antibiotic lotions or gels can also help. Sometimes, you may need to take antibiotic pills. Your dermatologist may treat you with laser surgery. If you think you have rosacea, talk with your doctor about these treatments.

Diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis.

Psoriasis is a skin disorder driven by the immune system, especially involving a type of white blood cell called a T cell. Normally, T cells help protect the body against infection and disease. In the case of psoriasis, T cells are put into action by mistake and become so active that they trigger other immune responses, which lead to inflammation and to rapid turnover of skin cells. In about one-third of the cases, there is a family history of psoriasis. Researchers have studied a large number of families affected by psoriasis and identified genes linked to the disease. (Genes govern every bodily function and determine the inherited traits passed from parent to child.) People with psoriasis may notice that there are times when their skin worsens, then improves. Conditions that may cause flareups include infections, stress, and changes in climate that dry the skin. Also, certain medicines, including lithium and betablockers, which are prescribed for high blood pressure, may trigger an outbreak or worsen the disease.Doctors generally treat psoriasis in steps based on the severity of the disease, size of the areas involved, type of psoriasis, and the patient's response to initial treatments. This is sometimes called the "1-2-3" approach. In step 1, medicines are applied to the skin (topical treatment). Step 2 uses light treatments (phototherapy). Step 3 involves taking medicines by mouth or injection that treat the whole immune system (called systemic therapy).

How Migraine Causes Stroke

Christian Goodman

Apart from me there are many researcher to discover the association between migraine and stroke (and remember, all headaches are really migraine headaches). And I am not the first one either to discover why do people suffering from migraine are in such a big danger to suffer from stroke.

As per my knowledge, I am the first researcher to come up with a permanent solution for migraine which addresses the basic cause for migraine and headaches and hence decreases the risk for a stroke.

The information that migraine causes a stroke runs way back to 1966.However, recently an interesting paper was published which pulls together information from 14 studies - which was conducted in between 1966 and 2004 - that examines the association between migraine and the risk of heart attack.

It was really shocking to know the result.

People who do experience migraine the risk of suffering a stroke than people without migraine increases by 227%. And if you see auras, then the risk of having a stroke also increases.

Some life style behaviors for migraine patiences can multiply the risk of stroke for migraine patiences compared to people not suffering migraine. So if you suffer migraine, you have to be even more careful for your health than other people.

Taking an example of a woman who consumes birth control pills is actually EIGHT TIMES more at risk of suffering a stroke than a woman who also does consumes birth control pill but does not have migraine.

If we take other lifestyle factors like smoking or bad diet then the results indicate that the devastation is even more.

It doesn\'t take a rocket scientist to figure out that this high stroke risk for migraine patience is caused by the well known reduce of blood flow to the brain which usually occurs while people suffer migraine attack.

Basically, migraine and headaches are NOT the main conditions. They are only tiny side effects of the real condition which is oxygen deprivation in the head.

It is a misleading information, when we say that migraine patients usually develops a stroke. It is like telling that people who are suffering from cold are more likely to develop germs or viruses active in their lungs. Germs are not caused due to cold, the cold is caused due to these germs.

Once more I have tackled the REAL and fundamental cause for migraine and headaches... which is oxygen deprivation - with my natural migraine and headache exercise program.

So, by solving the fundamental cause of migraine , my clients could avoid other \"associated\" symptoms like stroke.

One of the main answer for both the conditions (stroke and migraine) is the flow of oxygen into the lungs and up to the brain. This is the permanent healing solution for migraine and frequent headaches. And also you could prevent stroke.

This is exactly what my natural migraine and headache program been doing. And I am very glad to see that the tradition medical system finally agreed with me, however many doctors would probably write that my exercise are useless activity.

Home care of headaches.

Keep a headache diary to help identify the source or trigger of your symptoms. Then modify your environment or habits to avoid future headaches. When a headache occurs, write down the date and time the headache began, what you ate for the past 24 hours, how long you slept the night before, what you were doing and thinking about just before the headache started, any stress in your life, how long the headache lasts, and what you did to make it stop. After a period of time, you may begin to see a pattern. A headache may be relieved by resting with your eyes closed and head supported. Relaxation techniques can help. A massage or heat applied to the back of the upper neck can be effective in relieving tension headaches. Try acetaminophen, aspirin, or ibuprofen for tension headaches. DO NOT give aspirin to children because of the risk of Reye syndrome. Migraine headaches may respond to aspirin, naproxen, or combination migraine medications. If over-the-counter remedies do not control your pain, talk to your doctor about possible prescription medications. If you get headaches often, your doctor may prescribe medication to prevent headaches before they occur. All types of pain pills (including over-the-counter drugs), muscle relaxants, some decongestants, and caffeine can cause this pattern. If you think this may be a problem for you, talk to your health care provider.

How to save from ED?

A great life problem it’s a health problem! Especially, when it caused different troubles with erectile dysfunction. But don’t worry, with such great variety of medication, you can easily solve it! Use for instance Tadalafil or generic Cialis. It is an orally administered drug used to treat male erectile dysfunction (impotence). You know, that it was initially developed by the biotechnology firm ICOS and subsequently developed and marketed worldwide by a joint venture of ICOS Corporation and Eli Lilly and Company (Lilly ICOS LLC) under the brand name Cialis. Since people who have taken tadalafil within the past 48 hours cannot take organic nitrates to relieve angina (such as glyceryl trinitrate spray), these patients should seek immediate medical attention if they experience anginal chest pain. In the event of a medical emergency, paramedics and medical personnel should be notified of any recent doses of tadalafil. So if you have an ED problems, Cialis easily can help you, by means of relaxing muscles and increasing blood flow to particular areas of the body. barato levitra comprar viagra comprar cialis

The Side Effects Of High Blood Pressure Medications

Christian Goodman

The only thing more dangerous than high blood pressure is using blood pressure medications to lower it. Here\'s why...

Hypertension medications cause serious side effects. The medical companies say: \"No efficacy without side effects\" only to defend themselves.

Dizziness, headache, fatigue, depression, throbbing of the heart, lack of energy, lack of concentration, impotency, frigidity etc are some of the serious side effects.

These medications can give rise to the feeling of \"false security\".

It\'s like wearing a safety helmet with an unnoticeable crack in it. You take more risk because you trust the helmet. But when something hits you in the head and the helmet breaks and your head along with it.

Hypertension medications neither cure hypertension nor protect you from sudden fatal cardiovascular events - such as heart attack, stroke, embolism, kidney failure and other conditions that are directly caused by high blood pressure. It often doesn\'t even work to normalize the blood pressure itself.

Around 50 % of the population dies due to these diseases. And people who are using the medications the mortality rate is still higher. But people are put on medications for their life, they think that they are safe , but the safety device doesn\'t work.

The reason the medications don\'t work is because they don\'t take on the underlying cause of hypertension: Stress and wrong diet.

The living standards have been very high in western world. It is not easy to live a good life. Though we have plenty to eat and nice clothes to wear and shelter but the worries and stress have also increased and plagued us so much.

Hypertension is caused by the worrying thoughts running through a normal person mind 24/7. They have tension in their mind and body which doesn\'t allow them to relax or sleep. This builds an emotional tension.

You need a break!

Your mind needs a few minutes focused break every day. And watching TV doesn\'t cut it. It actually makes it worse. You absolutely do need to give your body and mind a few minutes break from all tension and all worries every single day.

Half of western world\'s population die from conditions where hypertension plays a key role. A Focused break could have saved many of those people.

Self Massage Therapy Techniques For Headaches

Robert Vignoli

Chances are if you are like most Americans you have had a headache, as a matter of fact when it comes to the rate of chronic headaches in America, studies have shown that roughly 45 million Americans suffer from them each year. While I would suggest that seeking the service of a professional massage therapist, many times you can utilize self massage techniques, which may speak to men more than females. The reason being, men still have a lower rate of seeking massage therapy services than women do. But these techniques will for everyone.

With men suffering slightly more than females, 25 million men on average, while female average about 20 million that experience chronic headaches. This represents a statistic of chronic headaches that is roughly 1 out of every 6 Americans. Here are some more startling statistics that might be alarming to you.

Headache statistics according to the American Headache Society:

• Every 10 seconds, someone in the United States goes to the emergency room with a headache or migraine.

• More than $1 billion is spent on over-the-counter medications to treat headaches and Migraines.

• The lost work due to migraine disease costs more than $13 billion every year in the U.S.

Follow these self massage techniques that are listed here and you will diffuse the severity of your headache or migraine.

1. Drink plenty of water before and after doing these massage techniques (most important)

2. Take your thumbs and press them firmly into the bridge of your nose, just underneath your forehead. Direction of pressure is in towards one another, pressure is firm but not causing pain. Hold for 7 - 10 seconds, breathy deeply. Repeat 2 -4 times

3. Take your thumbs and now place them just underneath your forehead, with the pads of your thumb very close to the bridge of your nose. But this time you will press firmly upwards towards your forehead, again not causing pain but utilizing firm steady pressure. Taking deep breathes while holding this pressure. Hold for 7 - 10 seconds and repeat if necessary.

4. Take both hands and pinch and then pull your skin tissue just below you eyebrows and hold. Direction of and pressure of pinch is away from face and pressure is firm, with a hold of about 5 -7 seconds and repeat.

5. Take your thumbs or your middle 3 fingers and press them firmly into the sides of your temple. You can add a slight circular motion here as well, this is very effective. Hold for 7 - 10 seconds using form but steady pressure.

6. Sinus suffers can press into the sides of their nose and move fingers firmly away from their nose towards their cheekbones. Working both sides at once and working multiple points along the ridge of your nose. Direction of pressure is in towards your face and moving away towards your cheekbones.

7. Optional: If you have something that is foam in nature or hard plastic protected with some padding, the goal here is to get something that you can put behind your head and lay the back of your head on just underneath your skull (sub occipital area)

I have tried these massage therapy techniques many times in the past with great results; most times headaches disappear almost immediately. If you have any other techniques I would love to hear about it, thank you.
